 Community Impact Awards

Community Impact Awards recognize organizations that are positively impacting their communities in ways that inspire integrity. Applications are open to for-profit companies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and government entities.

Community Impact Awards fall into two categories:
  1. Education: Organizations have demonstrated an ability to engage students and faculties in initiatives that significantly promote ethical behavior on Oklahoma campuses.
  2. Community: Nonprofit and for-profit organizations honored in this category have made significant outreach efforts that serve to uplift the community, specifically by promoting strong principles, ethical leadership and integrity.

Carmichael Leadership Award

The Carmichael Leadership Award honors young professionals who demonstrate a strong propensity toward ethical leadership. Named for Dr. David B. Carmichael, a professor at Oklahoma City University who started the first student ethics chapter in Oklahoma, this award is intended to promulgate his efforts to mentor and promote ethical principles among young adults.

Deadline for nominations and applications is 5:00 p.m. on July 23, 2021.

2016 Update: The economic downturn in Oklahoma limited even our strongest companies' abilities to provide the resources necessary to complete this thorough application process. For that reason, the Compass Awards were temporarily postponed. However, OK Ethics was pleased to honor top leaders with the COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARDS. Also, we were delighted to honor Peter Dobelbower of Hobby Lobby with the 2016 EXECUTIVE PILOT AWARD.

Please download the program below for more details about those who are promoting integrity at work in Oklahoma!
